Paper Title
System Dynamics Modeling for Waste Management from Convenience Stores
Abstract
The GHGs may be emitted from incineration, recycling, composting, anaerobic digestion, and feeding pigs when
managing wastes. Great amount of wastes generated in convenience stores are consisted of food waste, spent coffee ground
(SCG), and municipal solid waste (MSW). Six different scenarios were established in this study. The GHG emissions from
the scenarios were all mitigated except the 1st scenario. Incinerating food waste would greatly affect GHG emissions than
incinerating SCG. The waste management with energy recovery would be helpful for GHG mitigation.
