Paper Title
State of the Art in Medical Ultrasound Imaging
Abstract
The Using of ultrasound imaging in the medical field is one of the most important types of imaging currently, which is undergoing ongoing research to develop and improve the accuracy of diagnosis and therapeutic. Digital beamforming technology is one of the most used techniques because it enables the control of the various variables of the ultrasound beam through the computer in the case of transmission or reception, also it's beginning to advanced techniques used in ultrasound imaging. Most digital beamforming operations are carried out through the processing of digital signals where many studies have been carried out and through which the resulting algorithm can be applied It has used several programming languages, most of which are used by Matlab. It provides the possibility of converting it to the VHDL language environment to be applied in embedded systems such as VLSI or FPGA. Where studies have shown that using of FPGA is a minor drawback because it can be reprogrammed and the possibility of adding new features in addition to the ability to process information such as huge in the form of ultrasound. In this paper the uses of synthetic aperture and plane-wave ultrasound addition to new beamforming technique have been investigated. And the possibility of using completely new ultrasound applications with increased accuracy, contrast and accuracy in motion estimates and to increase the image quality.
